This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for courses, training programs, subscriptions, and other learning services purchased on Humanitarian University.

By purchasing any course or service on our platform, you agree to this policy.

1. Course Purchases

Humanitarian University offers online courses and learning materials for the humanitarian, NGO, development, and nonprofit sectors.

Before purchasing a course, users are encouraged to carefully review the course description, learning objectives, access period, price, and requirements.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered only where:

  • A user was charged more than once for the same course

  • Payment was successful but course access was not granted

  • The wrong course was purchased due to a technical error

  • A course was cancelled by Humanitarian University

  • A major technical issue from our platform prevents access to the course

3. Non-Refundable Payments

Refunds may not be granted where:

  • The user has already accessed a significant part of the course

  • The user has downloaded course materials

  • A certificate has already been issued

  • The user simply changes their mind after purchase

  • The user fails to complete the course

  • The user provides incorrect registration or payment details

  • Access problems are caused by the user’s device, internet connection, or browser settings

4. Cancellation of Enrollment

Users may request cancellation of enrollment by contacting Humanitarian University through email.

Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund. Refund decisions will depend on the course access status, payment condition, and eligibility under this policy.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Where Humanitarian University offers subscription-based access, users may cancel their subscription before the next billing cycle.

Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund payments already made for the current billing period.

6. Refund Request Process

  • Registered email address

  • Course or service purchased

  • Payment date

  • Proof of payment

  • Reason for requesting a refund

7. Refund Review Period

Refund requests will be reviewed within a reasonable time after receiving all required information.

If approved, refunds will be processed through the original payment method or another approved payment channel.

8. Processing Time

Approved refunds may take several business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider, bank, or transaction channel used.

Humanitarian University is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment processors.

9. Course Cancellation by Humanitarian University

Humanitarian University reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or replace a course where necessary.

If a paid course is cancelled and no suitable replacement is offered, eligible users may receive a refund or course credit.
